“Hell Freezes Over” is the Eagles’ historic reunion in April 1994, which resulted in a 9x platinum album that stayed on the charts for 2 weeks and spawned a mega-successful 2-year tour. And now, on March 8th, Geffen/USM celebrates the 25th anniversary of that momentous release with the reissue of Hell Freezes Over on 180g black vinyl (2LP) and CD. The album, originally produced by the Eagles with Elliot Scheiner and Rob Jacobs, has been extensively remastered by Bob Ludwig for modern high quality vinyl. “Hell Freezes Over” showcases the long run era of the band – drummer/vocalist Don Henley, guitarist/vocalist Glenn Frey, guitarist/vocalist Joe Walsh, guitarist/vocalist Don Felder and bassist/vocalist Timothy B. Schmit – with four new studio tracks and 11 live performances from the April 25 and 26, 1994 reunion sessions at Warner Burbank Studios in Burbank, California, which subsequently aired as a high-profile MTV special.
