No matter how much time you spend with Doug MacLeod, the stories of his time on the road with the likes of Big Joe Turner and Pee Wee Crayton spill out as easily as a brook caressed by a breeze. And you can tell right away when a good part comes, a climax so to speak, when Doug blinks a little, his grin widens and the words come out of his lips: “Come to find …”. For years, MacLeod was a well-respected blues guitarist on electric guitar and the leader of his own band, who has toured the USA and Europe and released numerous albums. Doug broke up the band to devote all his energies to his first love, the acoustic blues.
