Malcolm John Rebennack Jr., better known as Dr. John, was one of the most original and influential voices in the music metropolis of New Orleans. Since the 1950s, the father of voodoo rock (his cover designs speak volumes) has thrilled audiences with his extraordinary combination of rock, blues and jazz. Six Grammys and a place in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame honor the original, who died in 2019. In The Right Place from 1973 is his best-selling album, and the opening single Right Place Wrong Time was a huge hit in the charts.
