‘Nightbird’ is the name of the album by Eva Cassidy, who died much too young and documents a special night in music history, namely January 3, 1996, when Eva and her band played at the Blues Alley Jazz Club in Washington D.C. occurred. The recorded performance would prove to be the only Eva Cassidy solo album released during Eva’s lifetime. This original album “Live At Blues Alley” contains only twelve of the total of 31 recorded songs from this special night, now the Cassidy fan gets all the songs from this magical night delivered on heavy weight vinyl.
