A relaxed bossa nova record that captures the feeling of the beach and sun was the latest theme that Berlin master record producer Stephan Flock had in mind. Which artist’s works are better suited for this than those of the Brazilian “The Girl From Ipanema” author Antonio Carlos Jobim? Eight beautiful titles were selected from his rich repertoire, with some unforgettable melodies, colorful harmonies and rarely played 3/4 bossa to be found. The pieces were carefully and harmoniously modernized and arranged for the special live direct cut, the direct-to-disc process.
