As Papageno he made history and became Germany’s most popular opera singer: Hermann Prey. This CD brings together previously unpublished recordings from the legendary Sunday concerts with the Munich Radio Orchestra, created between 1966 and 1992. In a representative selection of roles between Bach and musical, they show the baritone in all its facets: from the sensitive comedian to the intense, internalized one Song interpreters.
