Jennifer Warnes – The Well (3LPs, Box-Set, Impex)

“The Fountain” is the title of this Jennifer Warnes album from 2001. It had been nine years since “The Hunter” and Ms. Warnes was dissatisfied with her record company and decided to produce an album on her own account that she had long wanted to do. It shouldn’t be about catchy pop melodies, but rather quieter and more emotional songs that tell little stories from life and presents the profound images of these songs with enormous composure.
