Scott Hamilton is considered one of the greatest mainstream saxophonists. This is the first live recording of the great American saxophonist in the company of three great jazz musicians; Paolo Birro, Aldo Zunino and Alfred Kramer – his usual partners when he performs in Italy. This album is part of the recordings made on the occasion of the concerts of the 1st edition of the Fone Music Festival Piaggio 2019. The concerts, organized by Giulio Cesare Ricci, took place in the Piaggio Auditorium in the famous museum in Pontedera. A “field effect” recording technique was also used for this recording, natural sound, without the use of equalizers, no sound expansion or compression systems … All this to bring the listener back into his home hi-fi system, the live effect as if he were present at the concert.
