He had actually studied the flute, but discovered his great talent for singing shortly before completing his studies. Italian tenor Massimo Giordano has long been known to opera lovers around the world. From Italy, where he made his debut in Spolento with Massenet’s “Werther”, he conquered the big international stages, including La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, as well as the Vienna State Opera and the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
