Sinematic is Robbie Robertson’s sixth solo album. It is inspired by the film world and deals with its own dramatic life story and its fascination for the darker side of human nature.
The album was produced by Robertson himself and is the first work after his last album “How To Become Clairvoyant” from 2011, on which Eric Clapton also participated. the songwriter since his introspective collaboration with Eric Clapton in 2011. In the intervening years, Robertson devoted himself to his autobiography “Testimony”, composed music for the documentary “Once Were Brothers” and set music to “The Irishman”, the upcoming film by director Martin Scorsese with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Harvey Keitel.
