In April of this year, Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI Music announced the worldwide release of the original remastered Beatles catalog for Wednesday 09/09/2009. Each album appears in the original cover artwork and contains an extensive booklet with newly written liner notes and numerous rare photos.
The meticulous remastering process at London’s Abbey Road Studios took a full four years. When using the latest studio technology as well as classic sound equipment, the main focus was always on reproducing the original analog recordings as authentically as possible. The result is the most faithful sound quality in which this music has been heard since its creation and first release in the 1960s.
