A meager yield considering the extremely busy concert activities of the new trio between 1969 and 1974. With Eddie Gomez, the new bass phenomenon and Marty Mortell on drums, the trio had found a solid and constantly improving cast. Evans was also interested in the possibilities of the Fender Rhodes and brought it to the concept for The Bill Evans Album.
