This is the Dead Brothers’ 7th album for Voodoo Rhythm Records and we stand at the abyss and at the end of the world. The catastrophe is imminent, fear reigns everywhere. Under these conditions, the Dead Brothers made a pilgrimage to the Vosges to mix medieval yodeling sounds with the absurdity of Serge Gainsbourg together with Rodolphe Burger. With lyrics by the late Robert Walser and underground filmmaker Marcus Aurelius Littler, Angst 13 tells tales of joy and misery and the difficulty of being human in these troubled times. Hundreds of notes featuring fiddles and tubas, banjos and Wurlitzer organs, calypso and voodoo choirs play together on this new masterpiece from the legendary Dead Brothers.
