Cat Stevens – Teaser And The Firecat (LP, Universal Music)

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking Teaser and the Firecat album (Moonshadow, Peace Train, Morning Has Broken and more), it was compiled from the original UK stereo master tapes by Yusuf, sound engineer David Hefti and album producer Paul Samwell-Smith remastered at Abbey Road Studios. It is now being re-released in multiple formats, including a 4CD/BD/2LP/7″ Super Deluxe Edition including 108-page Essay Book + 44-page Teaser And The Firecat Illustration Book. This edition includes one CD in addition to the album remaster with partially unreleased demos, alternate versions and bonus tracks CD3 and CD4 contain 20 live performances for radio & TV: “Live On Air” (1971) as well as the previously unreleased, complete concert “Live In Montreux” (1971) The Blu-ray contains the album remaster in 24bit/48kHz HD audio as well as over 80 minutes of video material including the performance of “The Wind” (2020), the animated video of “Moonshadow” (1977) and 21 live TV performances.
