Remake of the Nick Cave classic. 180g vinyl with bonus download code. This vinyl reissue was overseen by Bad Seeds member Mick Harvey! Nick Cave’s ninth studio album (1996) would be his most successful. Thanks to the duet with Kylie Minogue “Where The Wild Roses Grow”, Nick Cave suddenly found himself in the top positions of the charts worldwide. Other guests on the album include PJ Harvey and former Pogues singer Shane MacGowan. As the album title suggests, these are traditional stories in which a murder committed with passion plays the central role. Musically, these are staged between morbid country, clever alternative rock and playful cabaret jazz. Nick’s vinyl editions were long out of print and were traded as rarities. In October, the film “20,000 Days on Earth” started, a kind of (with a wink) documentary about the life and work of Nick Cave.
